The ladies will be supported by staff and volunteers, who will support and encourage them within the house into independent living.

Project Overview

The Operation Manager will offer support and supervision and be involved at the outset of the project. There will be 24 hours 7 days a week emergency contact number for the ladies. Monday morning there will be a house meeting with the House Manager and ladies in the house.

There will be a one-month induction which will include a support plan and volunteering twice a week in a local church providing food for individuals and families accessing the foodbank. Following the months induction, a full assessment and a more detailed plan of volunteering opportunities can be accessed.
Communities First will provide a variety of training opportunities for the ladies as they move through their support plan identifying their individual pathway.

At interview we will conduct a needs assessment. If the applicant is offered a place, we will create a support plan with the applicant before placing in the house. Each resident will have a support worker to monitor and work with the resident on their support plan. This will include signposting residents to services that will further meet their personal and housing needs.

Meaningful Activity

Source and provide training and volunteering for all residents with the aim of them gaining new skills and find new opportunities.
Our aim is to look to offer employment to suitably qualified and skilled residents at Amazing Grace Spaces.

Move on

To work with agencies and housing associations to move residents onto long term accommodation.

Providing a wholistic approach to our residents believing every individual is unique and created by God. Providing keys to recovery Body—-Mind——Spirit in a friendly non-judgemental and compassionate environment.
