Suzanne Smart

I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 4.

I was led to Grace House when I needed a safe place to stay when returning to Wales. Now settled and moving forward, I am happily giving back to the community that helped me by helping others in similar situations through my work and employed at Grace House as one of the house managers.

Previously I worked as an English teacher in deprived areas and administration posts in various industries.

I have volunteered for many organisations that help those suffering from homelessness, ethnic minorities, women that have been victims of domestic violence and supporting my church as Church Secretary and Safeguarding Officer .

I have a heart for victims of abuse, helping survivors to let the sun back into their lives and live in safety, abundance and victory as God intended.

I love food, fun and spending time with loved ones.
