We have a new house!

We are thrilled to announce our latest property, Naomi House in Newport South Wales.

In partnership with Green Pastures, we have received the keys to our new property which will house women in recovery offering individual support plans in addition to living within a community where individuals can live & grow together.

We treat and encourage ladies to be individuals, supporting them in their strength’s encouraging them to develop the areas they struggle with. We encourage community where staff, volunteers and residents at the house walk the journey together.

We offer in-house counselling to each of the ladies at the accommodation. This service allows the ladies a safe confidential, non-judgmental space to work through and process their trauma, to stop and reflect issues in their life they are facing that would stop them moving forward. To explore feelings of negative thinking and explore coping mechanisms. An opportunity to share with a professional counsellor, is an important part of the lady’s in recovery ladies can suffer with mental health issues, abuse and trauma. The sessions are focused, and goal orientated allowing the ladies to set small achievable goals which build up their motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. 

As our bed space capacity has increased we are accepting applications from potential residents. More information and applications can be found here

We are unable to accept donations of bedding as part of our program involves allowing our residents to purchase their own, which contributes toward a sense of empowerment.

We do encourage our supporters to consider a financial donation to wards items such as bedding, clothing and the long period of time where our residents find themselves without any government benefits. Any amount is appreciated and donations can be made quckly and easily here

We have a great deal of work to do at Naomi House, from gardening to painting, building maintenance, carpet laying and beyond! If you feel that you would help us refurbish this property in any way, please let us know.
